I just finished converting the school photos from .tiff files to .jpg files, and I'm really excited about this opportunity (I was helping the cafeteria manager add student photos to her accounts) because this means that I have a digital yearbook!
So for my blog, this means I can start posting Teacher of the Month awards.

Pictured above, Sam has passed his years for retirement but has chosen to continue teaching. I'm very thankful that he's still here at my school because he's one of my very favorites to work with. He's one of the funniest people that I know - he's hillarious. Teaching accross the hall from my computer lab, you can hear here him yell "chop, chop!" to his students and his sense of humor keeps me laughing.
He's also the only other politcally sound teacher that works here; so, he and I always strike up good political conversations.
He has a curly haired pony tail and refuses to shave because he says he "hates shaving" - but he doesn't have a beard. I've heard other teachers say, "I can't figure him out." He's truly a character, and he's the Spatula Spot Teacher of the Month.

Congratulations, Sam. (So you mean he always has that fuzz beard? It never grows longer?)
(yep. he never lets it grow longer)
