The Smithville Jamboree has a new website! This past year, they asked my friend Barry to make the site, and he did a great job. You should check it out.

I plan on being there in Smithville this weekend for the Jamboree. Last summer, I brought my guitar and picked under the shade trees with the old timers. I always have a lot of fun at the Jamboree and enjoy all of the bluegrass music and competitions.

This will be my last weekend as an unmarried man. I plan on staying the night at Barry and Bethany's house on Friday, and I plan to stay with my parents at their house Thursday and Saturday night. With anticipating and counting down the days to my wedding, it helps to have people to spend time with and places to go.
