I will be away from my blog till January 4th. Today is my last work day before our two week break. Kara and I have a lot of traveling plans ahead of us - we plan to leave tomorrow for Ryan's wedding in Georgia, then we plan to drive up to my parents that night to stay till Christmas morning. On Christmas morning, we plan to leave to go and spend time with Kara's family. We also plan to be in the area for Grace Chapel's New Year meeting. It will be a total of 20 hours of driving time in the next two weeks, but we're looking forward to seeing and spending time with everyone.

Last night, we won our basketball game. I only had 5 points, but I am still getting over a cold. So far, my team is 2-1. The league is taking a break for the holidays - so, I won't be missing out on any games.

Today, my computer should arrive. I've been waiting on shipping, and I have my office all ready for me to set up the new computer. I'm excited.

This evening, Kara and I plan on having our own "Christmas" together. We plan on going out to eat in Knoxville, coming home to cookies, peppermint ice cream, and eggnog, and exchange presents.

I'm here at work and have received presents from some of my students - really sweet of them. I just now opened a gift that had a nice pair of gloves and a travel shoe shine thingy. I have no excuse to have cold hands or dull shoes during my upcoming travels.
