I'm not sick anymore! After last week, I am reminded of what a blessing it is to have good health. I woke up feeling better on Saturday - I was able to speak, but I was still dealing with some coughing and sinus issues until today. I am very thankful that I was able to preach yesterday, and the Lord seemed to give the strength that was needed in my voice.
Kara's youngest brother, Gabe, plans to spend the week with us, and Kara is meeting to pick him up in Cookeville this afternoon. We're excited about having him stay with us, and we're also planning a get together on Wednesday evening with the young people from our church to come over and watch a movie at our house (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs).
Kara and I decided to subscribe to Netflix a couple of weeks ago because they are now offering unlimited streaming to a "Netflix ready device" ... to us, that means our Nintendo Wii. It's great! We're able to use our Wii to watch movies instantly - well, movies that they have available to watch instantly which is a good selection.
They have a nice selection of good movies and documentaries - we ignore the selection of movies with inappropriate content (and to us, that's movies with bad language, immodesty, etc). We have been watching a documentary on Lewis and Clark the past couple of weeks.
We're also able to get movies sent to us on DVD, and that's how we're getting Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs for Wednesday.
This is my last work week here at the school before my summer break. I'm sure I'll write more about that in days to come.
