Last week was fall break. Kara and I drove down to MS to visit with her family, and we had a great trip. Kara's siblings were also on their fall break, and her dad took the week off from work. I had a really good time and was thankful to have more time to talk and spend time with Brother Mark.

We did a lot in one week. We played put-put golf, went to a corn maze, shot a corn cannon and won all kinds of restaurant coupons, ate at Central BBQ, got ice cream at Ben and Jerry's (they had a really nice foosball table there), visited with Kara's grandparents, played games, rode bicycles, had a gigantic burrito at Qdoba, Brother Mark bought a new 37" LCD TV and we watched Toy Story 1 on blue ray on the new TV, and more. I also met Brutus, the new family cat, and was won over by how cute and playful he is.

Yesterday at Grace Chapel, Dan was there, and it was really good seeing him and the others there at Grace Chapel. Brother Zack asked me to introduce the preaching service, and I did my best to give a short exhortation.

On our way home, we met up with my parents in Cookeville and ate supper at Crackel Barrel. Kara went home with my parents afterward because she and my mom have a doctor appointment today. I plan on driving back to Middle TN this evening to pick up Kara.
