Kara is helping my mother and grandmother this week. She is helping to clean my grandmother's house, and we have now been apart since Saturday evening (which is the longest we've been apart since being married).

You know, Skype is such a great program. Kara and I have been able to video chat and see one another face to face every evening since she's been away. It's much more personal than a phone call, and we feel like we've seen one another.

Yesterday evening, I spent most of my time preparing a sermon for this coming Lord's day. It seems like the Lord is blessing my efforts thus far when it comes to the ministry. I see many areas in which I have to grow, but I am thankful that the Lord seems to be using me to be a blessing to His people.

I have started a series of expository sermons through the book of James. So far, I have preached a message entitled "James - Our Example" and a second message entitled "Faced With Trials". You can listen to these sermons by clicking here.
