We got back from our one year anniversary trip this past Wednesday night. We had such a great time in Charleston, SC and Folly Beach. If you click on the picture collages below, you should be able to see the collages up close and larger.
We spent our 4th of July at Patriots Point on the coast of the Charleston Harbor. We have read that this place ranks #4 when it comes to 4th of July fireworks celebrations. It was great!

We took a boat tour around the Charleston Harbor and saw places like Fort Sumter and an island where the people of Charleston used to hang pirates to warn off incoming pirates. They also shared a lot of interesting facts and history behind the harbor and city.
These are some of the statues and buildings of Charleston. We loved the unique architecture. Also in this collage, there is a picture of a white church building (St. Michaels) - George Washington and General Lee both attended this church upon visits to Charleston.
Here are some pictures of some more neat things in Charleston. They are famous for their horse carriage tours, and the history behind this city is just fascinating. We also found the Blue Bicycle Book Store that had a sleepy cat resting on the bottom shelf.
